    Questions

How is this different from ChatGPT?

You never leave what you’re writing. No copying text into a chat, no copying the answer back. Highlight it, say what you want, press Enter, and it’s replaced right there, in whatever app you’re using.

Which apps does it work with?

Most Windows apps where you can select and paste text: email, documents, chat, browsers, notes and code editors. If there’s an app you’d rather keep it out of, switch it off for that app in Settings.

Will it get in the way of my normal shortcuts?

No. The bar only opens when you hold the hotkey, drag across text with your mouse and let go, with no other key pressed. Ctrl+C, Ctrl+V and the rest work like always. Ctrl is the default, and you can pick another key.

What if I don’t like the result?

Nothing changes until you press Enter. Ask for another change on top, step between versions with Ctrl+Z and Ctrl+Y, or press Esc to close the bar and keep your original text.

Does it mess with my clipboard?

No. It copies your selection to read it, then puts your clipboard back exactly the way it was.

What gets sent to the AI?

Only the text you highlighted and your instruction, and only when you ask for a change. Nothing is sent before that, and your text isn’t stored. Rewrites are done by Claude, made by Anthropic.

Does it work in other languages?

Yes. It rewrites in the language you wrote in, and /translate turns your text into another language.

    Is it really free?

Yes. Every feature is included, with up to 50 rewrites a day. No card and no API key. Each change you send counts as one rewrite.

    Is there a Mac version?

Not yet. It’s Windows only for now, and Mac is coming later.

    Hold Ctrl and rewrite anything.

Go on, press Ctrl on your keyboard. Mac coming later.

    Sign in is coming soon.
